I had a great day yesterday, after settling in at the hotel in Windermere, on the shores of Lake Windermere in the UK Lake District, Maggie and I walked the mile or so into town to have a cup of tea and coffee. Of course I took my camera, only one…. and had a personal objective, relax and just capture random images of the beauty I saw, and how I saw it.
I did not try to make perfect images of anything or achieve a perfect picture of any flower, scene of object, nor did I worry too much about composition, framing and the like, I just wanted to capture what I saw, the random colours and textures of the environment, the natural beauty we sometimes do not notice.
Here are 99 images of what appealed to me, some macro, some wide but just the beauty of nature around at the end of summer, some faded, some brilliant. No captions, or descriptions…. I will reply to any questions of comments, but this was just what I saw on my walk today, and of course, subjectively what I interpreted and would like everyone to see.
Comments and observations welcome.
